You plucked away my feathers that I was born with.
But I will only grow stronger, more beautiful wings.
I will soar steadily and rise up to the sky.
I will feed more stories to the young souls who have dreams and need to be reminded of this fact.
I do not have the time to grieve or feel victimized.
My dreams are waiting for me, and I will continue to strive to make them come true.
